Training will be conducted by William M. "Billy" Green.   Billy is ATSSA certified (0245574) and a VDOT certified Advanced, Intermediate and Basic Work Zone Safety Instructor (070809000). Billy has been working in the heavy highway industry since 1974 and retired from VDOT as the Senior Construction Manager for the Northern Virginia District. Since retirement from VDOT; Mr. Green worked for several years as a Construction Manager for Volkert, Inc.   Billy has been a certified OSHA 10 & 30 Instructor as well as Trenching and Excavation Safety courses.  He is a Certified Partnering Facilitator and a Value Engineering Leader.   Billy is part of the University of Virginia Center for Transportation Studies Work Zone and Construction Management teaching staff and was part of the VDOT teaching team for the Asphalt, Slurry Seal & Surface Treatment Certification program.
